The cylindrical-parabolic trough is a modular structure of solar collection. It consists of a tubular spatial resistant structure, formed by a single triangular 12-meter-long and 1.65-meter-high beam, which main function is to resist the torque and bending forces of the collector.
The loads are transmitted to the structure by a system of purlins supported on four arms, two outer and two inner, with a separation of 4 m and a system of struts on which they are supported. The ends of the triangular girder are solved by a powerful U-profile that connects the axes of the intermodular joint.
